Ultra-moist and rich with warm spices, this is truly the most delicious pumpkin bread you’ll ever bake.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
2 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp allspice
¼ tsp cloves
½ tsp salt
1 ½ cups pumpkin puree
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
¼ cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt.
3. In a separate bowl, beat together pumpkin, sugars, oil, eggs, sour cream, and vanilla until smooth.
4. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir just until combined.
5. Pour into loaf pan and smooth the top.
6. Bake 60–70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
7. Cool in pan for 10–15 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to finish cooling.
