Description
A soft, warmly spiced pumpkin bread topped with a rich maple glaze—perfect for fall!
Ingredients
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp ground ginger
½ tsp salt
2 large eggs
1 ½ cups canned pumpkin puree
½ cup vegetable oil
¾ cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
**Maple Glaze:**
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
1–2 tbsp milk
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
3. In a large bowl, beat eggs, pumpkin, oil, sugars, and vanilla until smooth.
4. Stir dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
5. Pour batter into the loaf pan and smooth the top.
6. Bake 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
7. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
8. Whisk glaze ingredients until smooth and pourable.
9. Drizzle glaze over cooled bread and let set before slicing.
