  • Author: Feast Of Savory

Description

This steak bagel sandwich brings restaurant-quality flavor to your kitchen in under an hour. Juicy, well-seared steak meets creamy eggs, melted cheese, and a zesty homemade sauce—perfectly stacked on a toasted bagel.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Steak:

  • 8 oz ribeye or sirloin

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Garlic powder, salt, pepper

For the Sandwich:

  • 2 bagels

  • 2 large eggs

  • 4 slices American cheese

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp mayo + 1 tsp Dijon mustard

Special Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp mayo

  • 1 tbsp diced onion

  • 1 tsp hot sauce

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Season & Marinate Steak:
Rub steak with Worcestershire, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Marinate 30 min for best flavor.

  2. Sear Steak:
Sear in hot skillet with olive oil, 3–4 min per side. Rest 5 min, then slice thin against the grain.

  3. Mix Sauce:
Combine mayo, onion, hot sauce, paprika, and garlic powder. Set aside.

  4. Cook Eggs:
In same skillet, melt butter. Fry eggs to your liking (break yolks for sandwich-friendly texture).

  5. Toast Bagels:
Toast halved bagels. Spread bottom with special sauce.

  6. Assemble:
Layer steak, eggs, cheese on bottom half. Spread mayo + Dijon on top half. Close sandwich and serve hot.
