Ingredients

Scale

For the Garlic Butter Steak Bites:

2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

2 tablespoons olive oil, for searing

Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 garlic cloves, finely minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley or thyme, chopped

Optional: a pinch of red pepper flakes for a slight kick

For the Cheddar Alfredo Shells:

1 lb medium pasta shells

1 tablespoon butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

¾ cup frozen peas, thawed

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional garnish: chopped parsley, extra cheese

Instructions

1. Bring steak to room temperature and pat dry with paper towels.

2. Season steak generously with salt and cracked black pepper.

3. Heat olive oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.

4. Sear steak cubes in batches for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

5. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter.

6. Stir in minced garlic and sauté until aromatic, about 1 minute.

7. Return steak bites to the pan and toss to coat in garlic butter.

8. Sprinkle with herbs and optional red pepper flakes. Keep warm.

9. Boil pasta shells in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

10. In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.

11. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

12. Stir in Parmesan and cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.

13. Season sauce with salt and pepper to taste.

14. Add cooked pasta shells to the cheese sauce along with thawed peas.

15. Toss to coat evenly in Alfredo sauce.

16. Plate cheesy shells and top generously with garlic butter steak bites.

17. Garnish with parsley and extra cheese if desired.

Notes

Make sure to sear steak in batches for the best crust.

Use freshly grated cheese for the smoothest sauce.

You can substitute the peas with spinach or broccoli.

Leftovers reheat well; store components separately for best texture.
