2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup chicken broth

1 small yellow onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1 cup BBQ sauce

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1215 slider buns

4 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 cups coleslaw mix (optional)

1 cup shredded cheese (optional)


Instructions

Season chicken:

Season chicken and combine with broth, onion, garlic, and spices in slow cooker or pressure cooker.

 

Cook chicken:

Cook in slow cooker for 3-4 hours on high or pressure cook for 15 minutes with 10-minute natural release.

 

Shred and sauce:

Shred chicken and mix with BBQ sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard.

 

Assemble sliders:

Layer pulled chicken mixture on bottom half of slider buns, add optional cheese and coleslaw.

 

Brush and bake:

Brush tops with garlic butter mixture, bake at 350°F for 15 minutes until golden brown.

 

Serve:

Let cool for 5 minutes, slice between rolls to separate, and serve while warm.
