For the Garlic Steak Bites:

1.5 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

Salt and black pepper, to taste

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional garnish)

For the Parmesan Cream Penne:

12 oz penne pasta

2 tablespoons butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1.5 cups heavy cream

1/2 cup milk (whole or 2%)

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)


Instructions

1. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter.

3. When hot, add the steak pieces in a single layer (avoid overcrowding—cook in batches if needed).

4. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.

5. In the same pan, melt the remaining butter and stir in the minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

6. Return steak to pan, toss in the garlic butter, and cook for 1 more minute. Remove from heat and cover loosely.

9. Cook the penne pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
